Graham House, on the Burnaby and New Westminster border, opened in the spring of 1995. This fully furnished two-bedroom half duplex offers each resident their own private bedroom and bathroom while sharing a central living space and kitchen. A longer-term structured program is offered at Graham House that focuses on vocational and recreational pursuits, while helping each client establish independent life skill routines.

Although the Lloyd and Graham House programs have a long-term focus, each client is encouraged to work toward goals that maximize independence. Individualized service plans are developed for each resident that focus on skill development in identified areas such as the following;

• managing activities of daily living
• personal organization
• time management
• leisure planning
• medical, fitness and physical management
• memory development and improvement through the use of compensatory strategies
• emotional control and effective communication skills
• developing and maintaining personal relationships
• orientation in the community including bus training and handydart
• vocational and educational pursuits
