The base rate for each resident at King Edward House is $260.00 per day for the day program. This rate includes the following fees for services and expenses:

- Pre-admission assessment and report
- Individual Service Plan – including goals, behaviour plan and physical care
- 24 hour monitoring and supervision (8 hours for the day program)
- In house Adaptive Living Skills (ADL’s) assistance by a rehabilitation support worker
- Medication administration support and management
- Weekly schedule for each resident.
- Telephone calls (local) and cable available in each room (television not included and private rooms are not included in day program).
- Initial off site pre- admission assessment
- Food
- Cost of team meetings, reports and any associated transportation costs.
- Costs associated with mileage for staff driving clients to medical appointments

ADDITIONAL PROGRAM COSTS

The following costs are not covered:
- private telephone line
- long distance phone calls and other phone services
- personal clothing
- medication
- handydart, taxi and transit fees
- personal toiletry items
- other personal expenses
- entry fees to rehabilitation and recreation programs (eg. Fitness classes)
- additional nutritional requirements
- additional one to one support costs
