The Fraser Heights Apartments are located at 28th and Fraser Street in Vancouver, British Columbia. The apartments available are either one bedroom, or bachelor suites, which ever is vacant at the time of intake. The Fraser Heights Apartment building is located on city bus routes and is close to G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Center, King Edward House and Vancouver Hospital. The apartments managed through the Society account for approximately 1/3 of the apartments in the building.

 

The purpose of the Fraser Heights program is to help determine and provide the necessary level of assistance needed to safely maintain a client living in the community.  The program capitalizes on individual strengths while teaching life skills, each program is customized to fit the individual. Clients living in the apartments are supported by rehabilitation care workers and a Manager (Tracy Hallam). This program includes a 24-hour on call emergency support program, medication administration assistance, and individual service plan development and implementation.
